Between food, politics, art, film, and words: everything that could only be produced and discussed by our Latin America. We open with the words of the teacher of border thinking: Gloria Anzaldúa. We travel to the Caribbean, to the ABC islands, to delve into Papiamento, that creole language born from encounter (Keisha Wiel and Juny Martina). We cross over to the Dominican Republic to learn about the origins of the tostón (Costia Frita), and explore Latin American Black cinema in all its depth (Heitor Augusto). We sit down to think about the icon of that plastic chair (Augusta Lecaros). Creatura invites us to look at the southern borders through a selection of photographers, while Cocaworlds brings together works that touch on the revindication of the coca leaf. From the Andes, the photographs of Uriel Montúfar and his Andean cosmovisión in an interview with Cristina de Branco.
