This new illustrated edition of this classic of obscure Porto literature doesn't primarily aim to satisfy any kind of carnal need, but rather to honor a group of activists who serve independent publishing, especially for those seeking the darkest themes, the most nebulous scenarios, the deepest secrets, the hidden desires. And why not start with Edições Mortas? Of the dozens of classics that Edições Mortas has given us, and as a starting point, I thought this title would be a good compromise to test my most urgent desires, with a contract capable of absorbing all the technique and skill necessary for such an undertaking and trying to translate into drawing the sinuous curves that Raul Simões Pinto traversed. And why? In the relationship between contemporary Portuguese creation and erotic literature, some examples emerge that I would like to point out, also because they served as inspiration for this edition, without that being the sole reason why I decided to do this. These are just a brief mention, a substantial bibliography, among which I would be pleased to see this edition neatly arranged on the same shelf. Hugo Oliveira, 2026
