Cabeça de cão (trans. Dog head) is the second work from the collection Lenga-lenga. The collection's four titles are taken from a Portuguese children's song with lyrics that go like, "talim talão, cabeça de cão, orelhas de gato, não tem coração". The song portrays a character that chimes as it appears with a dog head, cat ears, but no heart. The compositions presented in Cabeça de cão were created during my move from Lisbon to Brussels, and embody various phases of this movement. Using captured recordings as a starting point, I crafted different compositions within these 8 fragments. I am deeply grateful to every person I encountered in Brussels, particularly those who have accompanied me throughout my journey, both through the past and future.
