This cassette holds an 86-minute extract from a warm Kabelvogue party recorded on a snowy evening in Romsa/Tromsø, Northern Norway/Sápmi. The 5 hour night contained carefully selected tunes by Sanj, Muggen, Carl Luis and Vera Dvale, which all together melted and mended hearts in the Dance at Verdensteateret bar and cinema. The selected cut from the evening is by Carl Luis and Vera Dvale, both setting the tone for the early beginning of the party. The sides, rotating like the sun turns into the moon, create an elastic, stretched moment of anticipation, slowly folding out into the desires of the night. Now, these sounds have found a shared viewing point from a hill In the Neighborhood of the Sun, the Moon and the Stars label. This release captures, for the first time, their shared passion for sound and music. Both artists have a common roof under the house of the Good Morning Tapes label and have shared the bill at GMT parties in Portugal as well through the dances organized by Merger - a Berlin-based party series (which grew out of the Duty Free Merger nights) frequently hosted at the club OHM. The events focus heavily on heavy bass, dub, reggae, and more.
