"The title of this EP is taken from Dr. Abdolhossein Zarrinkoub's eponymous book, which provides a historical account of the Iranian people's bold resistance against the Islamic Conquest of Persia. "Apranik"- This track is dedicated to the women of Iran. May you never forget your rich and incredible history, which echoes the names of countless female warriors, healers, scientists, artists, scholars, architects, politicians, innovators, pioneers, athletes, rulers, and revolutionaries. Apranik is just one of those names. Yet its mere mention, even through the most delicate of whispers, desecrates and razes the very foundation of the foreign lie currently plaguing the land of Aryans. It is the name given to the daughter of the great Sassanian general Piran. Apranik commanded Yazdegerd's army against the Islamic conquest and fought to her last breath even after Iran fell to Islam. It is a name that cannot be erased. And they know this. Never surrender, never retreat. You will prevail, Apranik."
