The rich visual language of Rita Koszorús has its natural rules. It does not matter if you hear Juan Gris scream or Kurt Schwitters whisper in it. SchMERZbilds lives from the avant garde, but they do not feed from it. Although her abstract collages balance on the edge of experimental photograms of László Moholy Nagy, utility graphics of Ladislav Csáder and scenographic design of Frantisek Troster, Rita has shifted the essence of inter-war abstraction to her own level, for which she does not have to feel ashamed.
