B. R. 3
In 1971, a year after winning the V International Song Festival with "BR-3" (Antonio Adolfo / Tiberio Gaspar), Toni Tornado released his debut album. The album, also named after the festival's winning song, is now back in stores in 180 gram LPs, in partnership with Universal and Polysom for the "Classics in Vinyl" collection.
With 12 tracks and with a strong influence of soul and funk, "BR3" is composed - in addition to the song that helped to enshrine Toni's career and which became a classic of national music - by hits like "Me Libertei" (Frankye / Tony Bizarro) and "O Jornaleiro" (Major / Toni Tornado). Produced by Milton Miranda, the record still has the participation of conductors such as Paulo Moura and Waltel Branco, who contributed to orchestrations and also helped to enrich the arrangements of this important record of Brazilian culture.
